Thank YOU!

Your generous donation has been received! Your contribution makes the difference in the lives of people living with disabilities. Your generosity allows people mobility and independence they never dreamed of. You make it possible for our clients to achieve things they could have only imagined before your support. You are simply amazing!

An email acknowledgement with the details of your contribution will be sent to the email address that you provided. Thank you for changing lives 4 paws at a time!

Thank you so much for your interest in volunteering with ECAD. Since 1995, ECAD's mission to enable people with disabilities to gain greater independence and mobility through the use of specially educated dogs would not be possible without the dedication of volunteers like YOU.

Due to the nature of our organization our primary volunteer opportunities are to engage with the dogs either on site or through our Home for the Weekend program.

All other volunteer interests are only offered Monday through Thursday from 9am - 3pm ET and have limited avaliability.

Once we have found a suitable volunteer opportunity, we will contact you with more information. Please note, this can take several months.

I’ve been great. My blood pressure is down. My knees are better. And, my blood sugar is under control as Wasabi always alerts me if it starts to rise. I haven’t been in the hospital once in the three years since I’ve had Wasabi. My mental health, problems with anxiety and depression are all better too.” - Project HEAL Graduate Retired US Army Ben Hernandez and Service Dog Wasabi

Anothony Filo Small

"Service Dog Filo has allowed Anthony the freedom to have a life of his own. He is a young guy now and he needs his privacy. It is so fantastic that he can leave the house on his own, go from place to place. When he comes back, he tells such great stories about where he and Filo have been. As a mom, I feel that he is secure with Filo, that he is safe." - Ellie Turturro, mother of Open Doors Graduate, Anthony Turturro and Service Dog Filo

“Honey has given my life back. For the first time in eight years, I can go to the Amusement Park with my grandkids. My nightmares have all but disappeared. Honey is far better for me than all the medication I used to take." - Project HEAL Graduate Retired US Army Ralph Talbot and Service Dog Honey
